Initial Consultation
Ready for an alternative narrative that focuses on strengths rather than deficits? Neurodivergent teens and adults have passions and strengths just like anyone else. Research shows that when strengths are tapped into and nurtured, neurodivergent individuals are more likely to thrive and succeed in life. Whether you are a parent seeking support for yourself/children or a late-diagnosed/self-diagnosed neurodivergent adult, sign up for a free consultation. In this initial consultation, I will share about myself and my experience with neurodivergence, assess your current need, and discuss how we might collaborate to address your support needs.
Support Services
Should you choose to move forward with me, support services will be provided through a virtual conferencing platform. If you choose to receive my services in a written format, correspondence will occur through email and shared folders. Time and frequency of sessions will have been agreed upon in the initial consultation. Examples of what I might assist you with are finding other neuro-affirming professionals like therapists, OT providers, assistance with major life transitions or events (trade school/college admission, job seeking, resume help), and supporting romantic relationships wherein one or more person is neurodivergent. Or maybe you just need ta talk to somone who understands your challenges free of judgement and misinformation held by "professionals" unfamiliar with the latest research on neurodivergent conditions. My number 1 goal is to support you in whatever way I can.
Consulting Services
Consulting sessions will consist of an academic presentation and discussion on a particular topic related to neurodiversity. Examples of topics are:
Camouflaging
Medical vs. Social Models of Disability
Self vs. Professional Diagnosis
Monotropism
Executive Dysfunction
Autism, ADHD, or AuDHD?
Pathological Demand Avoidance
My consulting services are an academic approach to understanding the full spectrum of the neurodiversity paradigm. The neurodivergent experience varies widely from one individual to the next. There's a saying in the autistic community, "If you've met one autistic person, you've met one autistic person." The same goes for ADHD folks as well! Self education and advocacy is most effective when you have the full picture of how neurodivergence manifests for you or your child.

Academic Librarian Support
Are you homeschooling, because the public education system has failed your neurodivergent child? Or perhaps you're considering homeschooling, but you're not sure where to start or you are feeling overwhelmed at the responsibility? Allow me to provide the academic support you need whether it's figuring out what homeschool style suits you and your child best, pointing you to open (free) educational resources, providing information and media literacy instruction, or anything else you may need help with as you educate your child outside the system.
